The Peace Dollar was minted from 1921-1935. It is known to many as the coin that symbolized peace after Wolrd War I and it is loved by collectors everywhere. The Peace Dollar obverse depicts Lady Liberty facing left wearing a shining crown, and an eagle on the reverse. The Peace Dollar was designed by mint engraver Anthony de Fransisci. Each Peace Dollar is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper.
