From 1950 to 1963, the stunning Franklin Half Dollar was struck at the Philadelphia mint. Featuring Founding Father Benjamin Franklin on the obverse and the famous Liberty Bell on the reverse, this midcentury coin highlights early American history perfectly. The Franklin Half Dollar series was cut short, as it was suddenly replaced by the John F. Kennedy Half Dollar after assassination of the President in 1963. Each Proof Franklin Half Dollar was struck with 90% silver, making it an excellent addition to any silver stack. We have a mixed lot of Proof Franklin Half Dollars from the last four years of the series (1960-1963) graded PR66 from CAC grading, and to make room in our vault for upcoming releases we are offering these for a steal. You will receive (1) Proof Franklin Half Dollar graded PR66 by CAC with a random date from 1960-1963. This is a fantastic way to add a classic coin from American history with a stunning proof finish with CAC's stamp of approval for cheap today!
