One year only. A mintage limit of just 2,026. An iconic symbol of freedom, beautifully captured in silver.
Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with the 2026-P Freedom Ringing Liberty Bell Silver Medal, certified by PCGS in near-perfect PR69 Deep Cameo condition with the collectible First Strike designation. Its unmistakable Liberty Bell shape, brilliant proof finish, and historic anniversary theme make this an exceptional centerpiece for a Semiquincentennial collection.
A One-Year-Only U.S. Mint Release
Created exclusively for 2026, this remarkable medal honors 250 years of American independence. The U.S. Mint identifies the Liberty Bell release as the first non-round medal in recent U.S. history, giving collectors an unusual opportunity to own a milestone in modern medal design.
Exceptionally Limited Production
The entire silver medal issue carries a maximum mintage of only 2,026 pieces across all grades and labels. Each specially shaped blank was individually hand-loaded and struck using a specialized hydraulic press in the Philadelphia Mint’s Research and Development Lab. Advanced laser engraving and finishing helped create the intricate detail and contrasting textures that distinguish this release.
Near-Perfect Proof Beauty
Certified PCGS PR69 DCAM, this example combines near-perfect proof quality with the dramatic contrast of frosted design elements against deeply mirrored fields. The First Strike designation adds another collectible distinction, while the PCGS holder protects the medal and displays both sides of its distinctive shape.
Designed by Matt Newell, the obverse depicts the Liberty Bell with its famous crack and “LIBERTY” inscription. The reverse showcases Independence Hall beneath celebratory fireworks, accompanied by “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and the historic dual dates 1776–2026.
