1776–2026-P Freedom Ringing Liberty Bell 1/2 oz Silver Medal NGC PF69 Ultra Cameo First Day of Issue America 250

One year only. A maximum mintage of just 2,026. An American icon captured in beautiful silver proof detail.

Commemorate America’s 250th anniversary with the 1776–2026-P Freedom Ringing Liberty Bell Silver Medal, certified by NGC in near-perfect PF69 Ultra Cameo condition with the First Day of Issue designation. Its distinctive bell shape and patriotic America 250 label create a striking presentation worthy of this historic national milestone.

A One-Year-Only Anniversary Design

Created exclusively for 2026, this extraordinary release celebrates 250 years of American independence by taking the shape of the Liberty Bell itself. Recognized by the U.S. Mint as the first non-round medal in recent U.S. history, it offers collectors a distinctive addition to their Semiquincentennial collections.

Exceptionally Limited, Individually Struck

The U.S. Mint established a mintage limit of only 2,026 silver medals across the entire issue, encompassing all grades and labels. Each custom-shaped blank was individually hand-loaded and struck using a specialized hydraulic press in the Philadelphia Mint’s Research and Development Lab. Advanced laser engraving and finishing helped achieve the intricate details and contrasting textures of this remarkable design.

Near-Perfect Proof Quality with First Day of Issue Status

NGC’s PF69 Ultra Cameo certification recognizes near-perfect proof quality with pronounced contrast between frosted design elements and deeply mirrored fields. The First Day of Issue designation adds another collectible distinction, while the America 250 label combines anniversary branding, Capitol imagery, and a flowing American flag.

Designed by Matt Newell, the obverse depicts the Liberty Bell with its famous crack and “LIBERTY” inscription. The reverse features Independence Hall beneath celebratory fireworks, accompanied by “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and the historic anniversary dates 1776–2026.
