Add the 2014 Burnished Silver Eagle coin to your collection. With a mintage of 253,169, this coin is a rare annual release, bearing the desirable "W" West Point mintmark. This coin undergoes a specific coining process that makes it stand out from the Proof Silver Eagle collection. Every silver blank is polished using steel balls and moved by hand to the coining press. Once struck, the coin is hand removed and immediately sealed. The results are a satin-like finish and exceptional luster that stand out from the Proof annual release.

Burnished Silver Eagles are 99.9% pure silver with a reeded edge and mirror-like background. Every coin has patriotic design elements, including a depiction of Adolph A Weinman's Walking Liberty, which shows Liberty walking towards the horizon, right arm reaching. She wears the American flag over her shoulders. While on the reverse, the heraldic eagle stands in front of a shield, holding 13 arrows in its left claw. The inscription alongside Liberty reads, "In God We Trust," while the reserve, "United States Of American 1 oz Fine Silver - One Dollar." The 2014 Burnished Silver Eagle has a perfect MS70 grade, signifying it has no imperfections, even at 5x magnification. The MS stands for Mint State, which refers to coins struck in the same way as circulation issues.

The 2014 Burnished American Silver Eagle is the 7th issue annual release, and 1 troy oz 99.9% pure silver. There were no yearly coins released in 2009 or 2010. Each coin weighs 31.1 grams, with a diameter of 40.66 mm. Burnished Silver Eagle coins have a face value of $1 US, backed by the US government, and are a desirable collector's item. Since 2006, every Burnished Silver Eagle coin comes from the West Point Mint and includes the sought after "W" mintmark, with exception of the 2011=S Burnished Silver Eagle. This collection of coins started to mark the 20th anniversary of the American Silver Eagle series.
