A virtual secret in the coin community, the Silver Eagle got a "touch up" in 2008! The details on the 2008 Silver Eagle are a bit more sharp compared to the previous years. However, the two most noticeable changes are the "U" in "United States" changing fonts and the dash in between the words "silver" and "one" changing from a tilde shape to becoming angled. This 2008 Burnished American Silver Eagle was the First Year of Issue for the updated Heraldic Eagle design.
This Silver Eagle in particular has a perfect MS70 grade and a label hand-signed by Thomas Uram!
