1941-D Washington Quarter
The 1941-D Washington Quarter had a total mintage of around 16.7 million from the Denver Mint. Although it is more rare in higher Mint States than some of the other Denver minted coins, it has been considered more of a “sleeper” coin. The 1941-D Washington Quarter can command a higher price in the low tens of thousands for certain coins though which makes it a valuable coin for any Washington Quarter series collection.
History of the 1941-D Washington Quarter
The 1941-D Washington Quarter was designed by John Flanagan to commemorate the 200th anniversary of George Washington’s day of birth. It features a portrait of George Washington on the obverse and an image of the American Bald Eagle over a bundle of arrows and olive branches on the reverse. This coin is fairly easy to find in various grades and is worth cherrypicking to ensure that you find a sharp strike and attractive luster for your coin collection.
1941-D Washington Quarter Value
The 1941-D Washington Quarter value ranges to upwards of the low tens of thousands for an uncirculated Mint State coin. Some people like to create circulated and uncirculated collections, and it should be relatively easy to find the 1941-D Washington Quarter in any of these grades, although Gem is a little harder to come by.
