This is an attractive coin that typically features a sharp strike, beautiful luster, and a variety of toned and untoned coins.

History of the 1930 Standing Liberty Quarter

When looking for your ideal 1930 Standing Liberty Quarter, cherrypicking is possible due to the abundance of the coin. This is a more affordable coin in the series due to being plentiful, and would make a great addition to any Standing Liberty Quarter series collection. The Standing Liberty Quarter was designed by Herman MacNeil. The obverse of the coin features Lady Liberty holding a shield in one hand and an olive branch in the other while wearing chain mail armor on her body. She stands in some form of gateway that features 13 stars and the words ``In God We Trust” dividing the walls. The reverse of the coin features an American Bald Eagle in flight with 13 stars surrounding it.

1930 Standing Liberty Quarter Value

The 1930 Standing Liberty Quarter value ranges from around three thousand dollars to upwards of fifteen thousand dollars for some of the highest Mint State grades of the coin. The Full Head version of the coin typically commands a higher price because of the sharp details of Lady Liberty’s head. The Standing Liberty Quarter series is a popular one among collectors due to the lower mintages, the attractive designs, and the controversial history of the designs with the “naked” Lady Liberty in the first two years.
