It's no surprise that this 1925 Stone Mountain Commemorative Half Dollar is stunning, as it was was designed by the same person who designed Mount Rushmore - Gutzon Borglum. Each one of these 90% Silver commemorative Half Dollars was struck in 1925 and features Generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson on horseback. Only 1,314,709 of these historic half dollar were minted, which is quite a low mintage for a silver half dollar!
