1910 Barber Dime

1910 Barber Dime

The 1910 Barber Dime had a total mintage of just over 11.5 million coins struck at the Philadelphia Mint. This coin had a decently large mintage, 1 million more than the previous year, and is relatively easy to find in circulated and uncirculated Mint State grades, even up to some of the highest grades. This is only one of two dates that has been certified up to a MS68+ grade, although the majority exist below this grade.

History of the 1910 Barber Dime

The 1910 Barber Dime is a beautiful coin that is typically well-struck thanks to the excellent craftsmanship of the Philadelphia Mint. While this is a more common coin, it can still command a premium for the highest grades. Charles Barber designed the Barber Quarter and the Barber Half Dollar. The design on this coin features a right facing profile of Lady Liberty on the obverse wearing an olive branch crown with a ribbon, and a headband with “LIBERTY” inscribed on it. The reverse of the coin features a wreath of corn, oak and maple leaves, and wheat, and frames the word One Dime.

1910 Barber Dime Value

The 1910 Barber Dime value reaches upwards of $23,000 for some of the highest graded coins on the market. While this is on the higher end for a Barber Dime, it’s possible to build a more affordable collection by finding a circulated and lower Mint State grade Barber Dime for sale. The 1910 Barber Dime is a gorgeous coin that would make a valuable addition to any Barber Dime series collection.
