These Peace Dollars are certified in MS64 grade. Each coin contains 0.7743 oz of silver. This coin was minted at the Philadelphia Mint. The Peace Dollar was minted from 1921-1928 & 1934-1935 as a coin to commemorate peace after WWI. In 1921, only a High Relief coin was issued. In 1965, the Denver mint produced 316,076 Peace Dollars with the date 1964, but all were melted afterwards. This silver dollar was designed by Anthony de Francisci. The obverse features a portrait of lady liberty crowned with rays of sunlight and LIBERTY across the top. The reverse portrays a perched bald eagle with an olive branch in its talons and the word PEACE inscribed on the mountain upon which the eagle is perched.
