This is an incredible opportunity to add a graded note to your collection! This 1999 $1 Federal Reserve Note has been certified by PMG to have a 66 EPQ Gem Uncirculated grade. What is important about this note besides its excellent grade is that it was produced under the 40th Treasurer of the United States - Mary Ellen Withrow. She is the only person to have held the post of treasurer at all three levels of government — local, state and national! Additionally, she also was Treasurer when the $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 notes were redesigned in the 1990s. After she retired from her office in January 2001, Withrow became an active figure in the US Treasury's historical society. Withrow is an activist for women in government and is a member of the board of directors of Women Executives in State Government, and an inductee into the Ohio Women's Hall of Fame. After she  retired from office in January 2001, she became active in the US Treasury's historical society. In no short terms, Mary Ellen Withrow is a numismatic icon and was a powerful force behind modern American currency during her tenure as treasurer. Don't miss out on adding this piece to your collection!
