These 1988-S Silver Eagles are the second year of issue in the series. Even with a healthy mintage of 557,370 coins, they are hard to find in nice condition. These amazing coins however are in a pristine PF70 UCAM from NGC!
The "S" mintmark prominently struck on the reverse shows that this piece was minted in San Francisco. This is also indicated on the label which was hand-signed by John Mercanti. Any Silver Eagle signed by the Heraldic Eagle reverse designer himself is a treasured addition to any collection. These won't last long so don't miss out!
