These super low mintage Eisenhower Dollars are the first U.S. Silver Dollar coins minted since the last Peace Dollar was minted in 1935. A tiny 5% of the entire Eisenhower series was ever minted in 40% silver as most of the series was struck in clad (no silver). Finding pieces that have been preserved in such high grade is no easy task. Even though these coins are nearing 50 years in age, PCGS has certified each to be in near perfect grade PR69 DCAM. Go just one grade higher to PR70 DCAM, you are looking at a $4,400 set according to PCGS Price Guide. Each museum quality set contains 5 coins; 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1976. There was no 1975 Eisenhower Struck. Can you believe you are getting all 5 coins for this price??
