1954 Washington Quarter

The 1954 Washington Quarter had a higher mintage from the Philadelphia Mint. There was a total mintage of just over 54 million coins. Although it had a higher mintage, many of the coins were saved in rolls making this a relatively easy coin to find in higher uncirculated grades. The Washington Quarters produced in the 1950s seemed to suffer from bagmarks, although the strike is average for these coins, including the 1954 Washington Quarter.
