1941-S Mercury Dime
The 1941-S Mercury Dime had a total mintage of over 43 million coins struck at the San Francisco Mint. In earlier years, the San Francisco Mint had much smaller mintages for the Mercury Dime. A 43 million coin mintage is huge for this mintage and it is relatively easy to find this coin in most circulated and Mint State grades up to about MS68. It’s even available in Prooflike Full Band versions. The 1941-S Mercury Dime features the ‘S’ mint mark on the bottom of the reverse of the coin.
