Introducing the 2024 $5 American Gold Eagle 1/10 oz PCGS MS70 FS Flag Label! 2024 1/10 oz Gold Eagle features the updated design introduced in 2021, certified a flawless MS-70 by PCGS.

Coin Highlights:

Contains 1 oz of .9999 fine Gold.

PCGS encapsulation protects and guarantees the MS-70 condition of the coins.

First Strike designation guarantees the coin was received by PCGS in the first 30 days of release from the mint.

Obverse: An updated version of Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ famous Gold Double Eagle design features Lady Liberty in front of the Capitol holding a fiery torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. Her hair is flowing behind her in the breeze, symbolizing progress as she moves forward amidst a backdrop of radiant sun rays.

Reverse: A bold close-up portrait of an eagle, designed by Jennie Norris. This design is the first new design introduced in 2021 since the series began in 1986. American Gold Eagle coins come in four distinct sizes, offering options of 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, or 1 oz of fine Gold. All these variations showcase the same iconic design and carry the full backing of the United States government, guaranteeing both their metal content and purity. Type 2 Gold Eagle Design The United States Mint revealed updated American Eagle Gold Type 2 reverse designs in 2021. 2021 marked the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle coin program, and the designs began appearing on these coins in mid-year 2021. Jennie Norris, U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) designer, created the Gold coin design that was sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Renata Gordon. The obverse has been revised with additional detail from the original design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens to enhance this classic image. The reverse design depicts a bold, up-close portrait of an eagle.
