Introducing the 2024 $25 American Gold Eagle 1/2 oz NGC MS70 ER Blue Label. This 2024 Gold Eagle coin features the updated design introduced in 2021, certified a flawless MS70 by NGC.

Coin Highlights:

Contains 1/2 oz actual Gold weight, .9167 fine.

Classic NGC Blue Label.

NGC encapsulation protects and guarantees the MS-70 condition of the coins.

The ER (Early Release) designation guarantees the coin was received by NGC within the first 30 days of release by the US Mint.

Obverse: An updated version of Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ famous Gold Double Eagle design features Lady Liberty in front of the Capitol holding a fiery torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. Her hair is flowing behind her in the breeze, symbolizing progress as she moves forward amidst a backdrop of radiant sun rays.

Reverse: A bold close-up portrait of an eagle, designed by Jennie Norris. This design is the first new design introduced in 2021 since the series began in 1986.

These 2024 Gold American Eagle Coins are in perfect condition. The Early Release designation is for coins received by NGC for grading within the first 30 days of release by the US Mint. Coins with a Mint State 70 grade have full, original mint luster and come with no detracting flaws of any kind on the designs and fields. The United States Mint revealed updated American Eagle Gold Type 2 reverse designs in 2021. 2021 marked the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle coin program, and the designs began appearing on these coins in mid-year 2021. Jennie Norris, U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) designer, created the Gold coin design that was sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Renata Gordon. The obverse has been revised with additional detail from the original design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens to enhance this classic image. The reverse design depicts a bold, up-close portrait of an eagle. .
