For the second release of 2023, the U.S. Mint has now produced the first ever proof versions of the modern Morgan and Peace Silver Dollar Series.
This 2023-S Morgan & Peace Dollar Set features one 2023 Morgan Silver Dollar and Peace Silver Dollar PCGS certified in perfect Proof-70 quality. Of the 400,000 coins being issued, only a fraction will meet the requirements for a perfect grade.
On top of that, the proof Morgans and Peace are made at the San Francisco mint as indicated by their “S” mint-mark. They’re struck in .859-oz. of .999-fine silver continuing the large size and high-purity of the series.
