The 2007 Burnished Silver Eagle was the last year before "enhancements" were made to the Silver Eagle design! The reverse of the American Silver Eagle was ever so slightly changed between 2007 and 2008. The details on the 2008 Silver Eagle are a bit more sharp, with the "U" in United and the dash between "silver" and "one" are the most distinct changes. 2008 and onward have the updated reverse. This really was a turning point in Silver Eagle history. Additionally, this 2007 Silver Eagle is the epitome of perfection as it has been certified by NGC with a near-perfect MS69 grade, and the rare and beautiful Burnished finish. These pieces have mixed labels, some will have standard Brown NGC labels, and others will have blue Early Releases labels.
