2020 will be the final year of the American Silver Eagle as we know it. The original classic design by the numismatic icon, John Mercanti, will be replaced with a whole new look. We don’t know what the new look is yet, but we do know the “bookends” will be a great collectible for today and generations to come. The bookends are the first (1986) and last (2020) date of the original Mercanti Silver Eagle series. To celebrate this historic event, we are offering a limited number of John Mercanti-Signed NGC two-coin sets in Perfect Proof 70.
