The 1918-D Standing Liberty Quarter is an attractive coin that can sometimes have issues with the strike. It’s possible to find a fully struck coin, but cherrypicking is advised to ensure a sharp strike, nice luster, and an overall appealing example. The obverse of the coin features Lady Liberty holding a shield in one hand and an olive branch in the other while wearing chain mail armor on her body. She stands in some form of gateway that features 13 stars and the words “In God We Trust” dividing the walls. The reverse of the coin features an American Bald Eagle in flight with 13 stars surrounding it.

The 1918-D Standing Liberty Quarter value ranges from around $13,000 to upwards of $40,000 for some of the highest grades found on the market today. If these coins were find in higher grades, they would definitely command an even higher premium.
