These beautiful 1911 $20 Gold coins were minted during what is considered the Renaissance of American Coinage. In 1904, President Theodore Roosevelt summoned his friend, famed sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, to design the most beautiful coin in the world. The subsequent coins are nicknamed "Saunt Gaudens" and are now some of the most desirable collectibles in coinage history.
Only 846,600 of these pieces were minted, which compared to a common date Saint Gaudens with almost 9 million minted, this release was miniscule! These pieces are 10x as rare and in an amazing MS63 grade, but can be had for right around the same price! We would usually charge $2650 for a 1928 that has almost 9 million minted. For only $100 more, you are getting a much rarer coin! This coin alone has almost $2,000 just in melt value. Don't let this opportunity pass you by!
