The 1894-S Morgan Silver Dollar was struck at the San Francisco Mint. There were many bags released in the 1950s, and not many seemed to be released during the trading flurry of the 1960s. The 1894-S Morgan Dollar, among a few other Morgan Dollars, had greater interest and commanded a higher price for a time around the year 1900. This interest soon faded and the prices dropped on the coin.
