Gold Buffalo Coin
The American Gold Buffalo was first minted in 2006. It is made of 24- Karat gold and has a face value of $50, weighs 1 troy oz. The design is almost the same design as the Buffalo nickel, the obverse consists of a Native American Indian, the reverse contains an American bison. Its design was taken from James Earle Fraser's Buffalo Nickel design. The difference is the face value and the fact that it’s made of gold.
Gold Buffalo Coin Value
There are multiple types of American Gold Buffaloes, such as bullion coins, proof coins, reverse proof coins, and burnished coins.
