2011 marked the 25th Anniversary of the American Silver Eagle program. This is an important date in the series, because it was the silver anniversary! Even the regularly minted 2011 Silver Eagles outside of the 25th Anniversary set are important pieces of Silver Eagle history that every collector needs. The pristine MS70 grade from NGC shows that this 2011 (S) Silver Eagle is flawless up to 5x magnification. This piece has a red core holder and special Golden Gate Bridge label because it was actually struck at the San Francisco Mint, not West Point! However, it does not have the S mintmark that usually denotes what mint it was from. The (S) on the label can only be verified by NGC if the coin was received in a still-sealed monster box of 500 coins! The NGC Price Guide values this piece at $110, so you can get this coin fro nearly 30% off! This is a fantastic piece to add to any collection, especially for this cheap!
