This coin is very common in most of the lower grades, but becomes a little more difficult to find in mid-range to the highest Mint State grades.

The Wheat Penny was designed by Victor David Brenner. President Theodore Roosevelt wanted to prepare new coin designs that had more artistic merit. The reverse features two stalks of durum wheat.
