1944 Washington Quarter

The 1944 Washington Quarter had a large mintage of just under 105 million total coins struck from the Philadelphia Mint. This is the highest mintage of any Washington Quarter pre-1962 Washington Quarter. Surprisingly, the 1944 Washington Quarter is a little harder to find in the highest Mint State grades, but when you do come across them, they are lustrous and usually well-struck.
