The 1939-D Washington Quarter had a total mintage of just over 7 million from the Denver Mint. The 1939-D is often underrated in the series. The 1935-D Washington Quarter is a beautiful coin that is possible to find in Gem condition and with a nice, frosty luster. This coin was designed by John Flanagan to commemorate George Washington’s 200th anniversary of his day of birth.
