1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar

The 1921-D Morgan Silver Dollar is the only Morgan Dollar struck at the Denver Mint with over 20 million total mintage. This Morgan Dollar was struck in the final year that Morgan Silver Dollars were struck, making it a special coin to add to a Morgan Dollar series collection. The D mint mark can sometimes be hard to see, sometimes called a micro D, and was lightly struck on the coins making it difficult to see. The 1921-D Morgan Silver stayed true to the rush orders of the 1921 Morgan Dollars and was struck using a shallow relief die.
