The 1918-S Standing Liberty Quarter is believed to be one of the rarest in the entire series when it comes to finding a full head Gem condition coin. It commands a premium even in circulated and Mint State grade, with it being scarce and rare respectively. The obverse of the coin features Lady Liberty holding a shield in one hand and an olive branch in the other while wearing chain mail armor on her body. She stands in some form of gateway that features 13 stars and the words “In God We Trust” dividing the walls. The reverse of the coin features an American Bald Eagle in flight with 13 stars surrounding it.
