The Rise of Penny Arcades

During the 1910s, a booming economy was met with more leisure activities for people to spend their pennies. Coin-operated games, called penny arcades, began springing up across the country. People all across the country used their Indian Head pennies for fortune-teller games, love-meters, shooting games, and early pinball machines.
