The 1904-O Morgan Silver Dollar had roughly 3.7 million coins minted at the New Orleans Mint. The 1904-O Morgan Dollar was one of the last productions of the Morgan Dollars at the New Orleans Mint. It believed that only a few hundred thousand were released before the rest were put into storage. Many of the coins eventually ended up in a sealed vault at the Philadelphia Mint and were later released with many other New Orleans Morgan Silver Dollars.
