The 1921 Silver Dollar Coin Anniversary Act signed into law the re-issue of Morgan and Peace Dollars for the 100th Anniversary of the last and first years of issue of the two coins respectively. This piece has the (S) mintmark on the reverse under the eagle's tail feathers as it was minted at the San Francisco Mint. Each coin besides the Philadelphia Mint ones bear a mintmark or privy mark to honor the now closed Carson City and New Orleans mints.
The First Day of Issue pedigree on the label means this coin was sent to NGC within after being purchased on release day, so it's one of the first to have left the mint! It has a perfect MS70 grade from NGC and a special Morgan Dollar Label ties the piece together with 100th Anniversary printed on the bottom. Add this new (old) coin to your collection today!
