COVID-19 brought most things to a halt, but the Silver Eagles demand did the opposite! The capacity to mint coins at the West Point Mint was crippled, so the Philadelphia Mint began production to compensate. The Philadelphia Mint typically does not mint Silver Eagles, so all of the few coins minted in Philadelphia have a major historical significance. Each coin is NGC certified as near perfect MS69 with a First Day of Issue label. Each is also marked as one of the few coins struck at the Philadelphia Mint by putting a (P) on the label. These coins have no mintmark, so only coins from unique Monster Boxes from the Mint have the implied (P).
The Silver Eagle design is changing after this release, so this coin is considered one of the last of the "Heraldic Eagle" Silver Eagles! Additionally, with half a million minted, this coin is one of the lowest mintage Silver Eagles ever! We don't have many available, so act fast!
