The LAST PIECES in our inventory!
The Old San Francisco Mint, a.k.a "The Granite Lady", celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2006. To celebrate, this commemorative silver dollar was minted! The Old San Francisco Mint was an important aspect of the revitalization of the city after the Great Earthquake of 1906, and thus it adorns the obverse of the coin. The reverse is identical to the reverse on the Morgan Dollar, one of the most famous coins ever!
Only 67,100 of these were minted in regular business strike. Each is in perfect MS70 condition with a population of only 134, which you almost never see in Uncirculated Morgan Dollars. You may never see this reverse design in as pristine a condition on a Morgan, so this commemorative is the solution! Even better, each one is hand-signed by Wayne Miller! This is an amazing coin for classic coin collectors!
- Wayne Miller signed
- TINY mintage
- Pristine MS70 grade from NGC
