This is one of the most famous coins you may have never heard of, as it was only issued for one year! The Silver Buffalo was issued once in 2001 by the U.S. Mint and contains almost 1 oz of silver. It was used to gauge interest for the 2006 Gold Buffalo to come in the future and was met with huge demand!
The release was met with incredible demans, resulting in 227,131 pieces minted. But, only 2,751 have ever been certified in perfect grade MS70 by NGC! In fact, this is one of the lowest mintage silver coins ever released from the United States Mint. We don't get these in stock every day, so add one to your collection while you can!
