Product Description
The 1999-P Dolley Madison Commemorative Silver Dollar was struck to commemorate Dolley Madison, the wife of former President James Madison, who served from 1809-1817. This Commemorative Silver Dollar was also the first coin to honor a First Lady! How cool is that? The obverse shows a bust of Dolley Madison surrounded by a bouquet of Cape Jasmine flowers, with Montpelier in the background, as well as her name in bold. The reverse of the coin features a detailed engraving of Montpelier with its lush willow trees and foliage.
Each one is certified GEM Brilliant Uncirculated, and comes packaged in its original mint cap! GEM BU means that if it was sent in to be graded, it would grade at MS65 or higher! Collect every commemorative for a great price today!
