Product Description
In 1943 in preparation for entering World War II, the United States mint had to use steel to make pennies rather than copper in order to conserve the metal. The 1943 Steel Lincoln Cent has since become one of the most desirable collectible U.S. Coins of all time. The silver color to them would make people confuse them for dimes and nickels. Since the coins are composed of silver, a highly reactive element, very few exist in high grade since they usually end up with spots and degradations.
Each set contains (1) 1943 Steel Penny from Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco. Each set is certified to be in MS65 quality by NGC! The entire set of coins is contained in a special 3-coin holder, perfect for display! Everyone wants these gorgeous steel pennies, so grab this set while you can!
  • Set of (3) 1943 Steel Cents NGC MS65
  • High grades are rare due to being made of steel
  • Set in a special 3-piece holder
