These 1880-O Morgan Silver Dollars have a decent mintage of 5,305,000 coins. Due to the near-150 year age and the fact that the Morgan Dollar was a circulated coin, this date is hard to find in MS64 and above. Examples from this issue have only graded as high as MS66, with MS65 being equally as scarce! This coin has an excellent MS63 grade from PCGS, and just one grade higher in MS64 would cost you nearly double! The 1880-O is a conditional rarity from the now defunct New Orleans minty and a semi-key date that collectors eagerly scoop up when they're available!
