Product Description
The 3 cent Nickel is a fantastic relic from Abraham Lincoln's Presidency. On March 3rd, 1865 Abraham Lincoln signed off on the production of the Three Cent Nickel. The coin was only produced for a short time from 1865-1889.
Many of these three cent nickels were melted down in 1889 to be reissued as a Five Cent Nickel the next year, so very few have survived! Even better, these have been signed by Thomas Uram. Uram is President of the Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists and a previous member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) Board of Governors, as well as a lifelong collector.
