Before we had the nickel, we had the Half Dime! The Seated Half Dime is one of the smallest of all U.S. coins ever produced and one of the most unique. For the last decade of production, the coins were not released to the public in an effort to conserve silver. Rather, the United States Mint released Shield Nickels composed of copper-nickel. The Seated Half Dime series is filled with varieties from re-punched dates to different date sizes. This only adds to the fun of collecting Seated Half Dimes! You will receive (1) circulated coin.
